Need to know what to get???

I have a 99 sonoma 2.2 5 speed and was wonder what all i need off my donor car (95 Z28)? it's an LT1 6speed car, do i need the computer, wiring harness, drive shaft? Also is their an after market harness to make this easier and will my stock computer work? thanks for all the help guys. Cory

you will need all (LT1 6speed car, do i need the computer, wiring harness) your drive shaft might work but there is others on this site can tell you more, so have fun with the truck.

Well guys i got the shaft on the car so its a no go but thanks for all the help i'll jus continue my seach for an LS1. thanks again.

You can look for an LS1 and spend twice the money. That is your choice. The LT1 is plentiful and people are pulling their built LT1s for the LSX. You can take advantage of this change or jump on the boat with them. Once again, YOUR CHOICE. I have an LT1 and love it. The frame mods are needed for ether swap, LS and LT. Do a search on google. s10 LT1 harness and see what you find. I found a guy the jumped on the boat selling a 2.2 gen 2 truck to 93-94 LT1 harness made by Current Performance. He paid 850 a year ago. now selling for 350. You choose!!!!!!!!!

I have a LS1 for sale if you are interested it out of a 02 trans am ram air

2002 LS1 (has the LS6 intake and the 241 heads) 39K miles
I pulled it myself and drove the car prior to pulling it

4l60E
Stock manifolds
full harness
PCM
radiator
some of the AC stuff (few lines, compressor)
all accessories
I think I even have the air intake stuff too

Was pulled to be used in my S-10 but Im going 5.3L instead.

I have a 99 s10 that I bought with the sole purpose of installing a v8 engine. I would like your advice on which engine would be the best candidate with the least hassle. The truck is a 1999 s10 2.2 5 speed. I would like to use the ls1 engine with 5 speed. Please any advise you might have would be greatly appreciated. You can't afford the hotrods today because the Barrett Jackson and Mecum Auto Actions have blown the pricing all to hell.
