89 s10 project

Just found a 89 s10 2.8l w/700r4 the engine is siezed up, know another guy with a 350 with s10 mounts and headers already, just curious if the trans would hold up with the 350 installed?

A regular 700r4 will hold up if set-up poperly. The transmission you are refering to is the 2.8l. The bellhousing on the v8 and the 2.8 are different. So, NO the trans will not be usable for your swap. The V6 4.3l is the same as the V8, bellhousing wise. So, this gives you more donors to look for.
