Got the Engine Now what ??

I decided on the 350 thanks guys. The truck already has i 4cylinder in it and the trans is a five speed. But i have no idea where to go next i know i need engine mount blockls but antthing else ??
All the help is much appriciated.

The 350 is from a 70 or 71 chevy truck.

First you need to decide what purpose the truck will serve, daily driver, street/strip, strip only? :icon_wave: depending on what direction you want to go will depend on what you need, aside from the basics.

The trans from a 4 cylinder or 2.8L V6 will not mate up to a SBC. The NV3500 is a better choice for manual trans. Depending on the application, some use the 700R4 (mostly daily drivers), 350TH/400TH for strip duty.

Basics are manifolds or headers, 2.8L frame mounts and Motor mounts, cooling (corvette radiator, HD 4.3 radiator, superior, etc..., induction fuel injected or carb, depending on trans - driveshaft shortening and balancing, I'm surely forgetting something, but I've given you a couple of things to think about.

The S10 swap manual will cover basic steps, and S10V8.com will fill in the blanks and answer any questions you may have. Usually every swap has its own unique problems that pop up, someone here usually has encountered them before.
