New to the forum and never built one of these before. I am going to be doing a lot of searching around. Bought it from the original owner for $300 and doesnt have a ding on it...just a couple tiny spots of surface rust trying to start. Has the 1.9L, 4-speed in it now.....327 or 350 is in the plans with a TH350. Topper was the first thing to be sold..lol

Let the fun begin! :)

Later,
Mike

nice buy. i wouls say stick with the 327 and the manual. go find a good old school 4 speed. that would be cool.

i think it has to do with the size of the pic itself.

If it came with the cable actuated clutch you might want to stick with the auto trans. Later trucks came with a hyd. clutch and made installing a manual easier.
