I figured since rebuilding my 350 is becoming a project all it's own, I would start a new thread. Began gathering new parts for the rebuild today. I'm (for now) just rebuilding my 350 stock. Went to autozone to get new rings, rod bearings and main bearings. I got the rings. Get this, autozone didnt carry stock 350 rod bearings (have to special order them). And turns out my rear main bearing was a different size than the rest... Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

flip the bearings upside down. it will give the size. std, .010, .020, .030 if the crank has ever been turned.

if you have it apart i would replace them regardless, how do your cylinders look? you might want to hone them at a minimum if your not sending it to a shop.

here is a little web page explaining the cheap way to do it, of course this will not produce the same results as a pro shop!
