Ok this has been frustrating! I bought the max 2wd conversion package and got the basic black headers. Now I'm putting on my 2 1/2" exhaust and find out that the collectors are closer to 2 1/8" instead on 2 1/2". Also they are very short collectors and very difficult to clamp onto due to the lack of space between the firewall (I have it hammered back as far as it will go) and the transmission.
Sorry about the rant but has anyone had this problem with these I added 3 pictures in my gallery. But what can I do now?

"Collector Issues"......... I thought you were talking about rare car magazines......:icon_lol:
Flex pipe won't pass inspection in my state.
Nor in NJ
AND, I believe most race tracks won't allow you to race with flex pipe.... just in case you're into that sillyness.

well you dont have to use flex it was just an example you can have a pipe welded to the end that will be long enough to use with your exhaust.

well I ended up findin a couple pieces that fit and brought it the size up to 2 1/2" got it welded to the collecter at a shop and it gave me enough length to clamp onto and works great now. Im using the flex pipe for now but my truck wont see any tracks soon and before I go to one I'm planning to go to a shop and spend some $$ on a full exhaust (just have some downpipes out of the mufflers right now)

I hate to say it but i used some flex pipe on mine just to get it over to the exhaust shop, that stuff can save you if you just need something temporary, I would never install it and keep it... Mine is a Flowmaster Y pipe setup and I needed to connect the drivers side down tube elbow to an old piece of a Y pipe I had made for my first V8 S10 that got totaled... I just needed a bend that would go under the 700R4 bell housing because my previous truck had a TH350 and the old Y wouldn't fit and it sucked anyway, it was one of those burn a hole and weld a pipe on sort of Y's...
