OK GUYS I HAD AN LT1 BUT I COULDNT RESIS THIS I JUST BOUGHT A Corvette LS6 engine from a '03 Z06 AND WHANT TO DROP IT IN TO MY GET THIS 1982 SHORT BED S10 DOES ANY BODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTION ON TRANS, REAR END, AND SO ON.... PLEASE REPLY I CURRENTLY HAVE A T56 AND CAMARO REAR WORKS GOOD WITH THE LT1 WHAT BUT I DONT KNOW HOW IT WOULD WORK WITH THE 405 HP LS6

the t56 will hold. but if its for the LT1 it wont bolt to the LS motor. as far as rear end it will take the abuse of 400hp. unless you do a ton of high RPM clutch dumps. you would love the T56 but you can get an adapter for a TH350 or 400. maybe sell the LT1 T56 and buy an LS T56 for it. you can sell the LT1 and harness to cover the price for ECM and harness for the LS motor in the S10. if you want to sell the T56 you have now PM me a few pics. as long as price and shipping is reasonable i might be interested.
