you can still use that tranny i think... and i beleive you have to change the PROM chip in the computer to the PROM from a tbi 350. there is a web page out there that specializes in chips for performance TBI.... http://www.tbichips.com/ there might be more like that.

I have a 95 that the 4.3 is getting replaced by a 5.7.
Since I'm in California, smog is required, so I'm sticking with TBI.
But using the Edelbrock MultiPoint EFI system.

Trans will work, everything off the 4.3 will bolt up, accessories you can use the TBI off the 4.3 on the 350. Your stock computer will work also but you will need to flash it for the igniton curve is different on a 350 to a 4.3, plus the fuel requirements are different also.

buy em a book send em to school and what do they do BEAT THE TEACHER
hmmmm.......under presure and the injectors will close NO FUEL over pressure and the injector will flood. IT IS COMPUTER CONTROLLED an electric on an off switch an electromagnetic servo ON/OFF the pressure is controlled by your fuel pump not the computer> the computer looks for appropriate pressure if it does not find it it and the pressure is low it will close the servo if it is not to high it will close the servo if it is TOO high the engine will flood.
