I have an 87 S-10 with a 350/350turbo. I recently noticed a large leak coming from where my speedo cable goes into the side of the tailshaft. Looks like im going to have to drop the drive shaft and pull the tailshaft to get the whole assembly out,its leaking from where it enters the tailshaft. Its seems like the whole assembly is loose. I can grab a hold of it and move it around is that normal? Do I need to replace the whole cable? If So is it easy to get to? Can I buy a rebuild kit? Any help would be great, its my first tranny job.
