If your engine is a 2 pc RMS, get the flywheel for that type. If you have a newer blck with 1 pc RMS, get that one. The starter will be dependant on the flywheel diameter and style you choose that will mount to your block. You are very lacking on the info for us to help. Not many people want to guess what you need to do or you have.

you need to give a rundown on the truck or you will not get the right info.

OK the 350 that im putting in it is a late 70`s early 80`s block has a lunati camshaff with all new lifers, the heads have new valve guides new exhaust valves and new springs.im going with a edelbrock 650 carb.on a edelbrock performer intake.im running all msd ignition with the street fire ignition box and with hedman headers.what im wanting to do is pull my 4.3 and use the tranny that was with the 4.3 switch is a nv3500 5 spd.my truck now is all stock nothing really done with the motor or trans. so it has the stock flywheel .so would i pull the flywheel off the 4.3 and bolt it to the 5.7 ? if i can even do that?if i cant what do i need to get to use the nv3500 trans ? or willl that even work ? idk if this is the info you were looking for so you can point me in the right directions or not if not let me know what other info you need to help me thanks (im new at this not really sure what im doing on this one)

Nothing set in stone here but you will more than likely need a 168 tooth non external balance flywheel for a two piece rear main block... Hope this helps...

I agree with you there. Glad you edited it. You will need an 11" clutch and pressure plate and mate it with a older flywheel. You will need to work with the guy at the parts counter. You will have to verify the pressure plate will bolt to the old style flywheel. Things to be sure and check.
Input shaft and cluth disc match spline count
Pressure plate bolts to flywheel
Flywheel diameter and tooth count work with the starter
