just did the exterior detailing of the blazer for local car shows comming up soon, took 10 hours to clean and polish the rims, clean and shine the molding, wash, rubbing compound, and wax, still have the engine compartment and interior to go, winter is a B&^% on a vehicle up here, by the way I like those ceramic brakes drove around all day yesterday and no a lick of dust on the front rims. You know after all this its going to rain!!!!

I like to use naguires quick detail to keep the shine going between all out waxes. Just spray it on the surface wipe with micro fiber cloth to spread evenly then take another micro towel and wipe again. What a shine! I was and still am using it and am very pleased. Might wanna give it a shot. :)

 Nothing a little spritz of water can't cure the X. :naughty:Hardin,I wish that was all it needed. Its gonna need pressure washed, compounded, polish, glaze & wax,and thats just the exterior.I guess a motor wouldnt hurt either.Member when you had yours all apart?Thats what mine needs.

mine was about that to, the mag wheels had to be cleaned with neverdull(over and over and over and over) then polished with the mothers mag rim polish, havn't done it in a couple of years, just quick cleans, took about a hour and a half each, see why the manufacturers went to clear coats, you don't see clear coats twenty five years old look that good though. Believe it or not there were only four small dings total on all four rims, they dont make them like that anymore.

I bet those wheels look great, maybe post a pic? That never dull is good stuff. When you take that kind of time,it shows.Up until this year we had a detail shop at my collision shop(all girls, and they were good!)I guess people dont have time,or dont want to do their own cars. Its kinda therapy for me.That stuff Hardin was talking about is great.I keep a spray bottle behind my seat. You can use it on paint, chrome, windows, wheels, anything.

Looks great! That time really paid off.I had those wheels on an 89 4x4 pu.I liked them, but they wouldnt ever have cleaned up that nice. They were all coroded from wheel weights,so I bought a set just like the ones on my ZR2

i realize why they clear coat everything now easy to clean, it just doesn't last like the quality old mags though.
