starter wire help?

hi i have a 86 s-10 with a 70'smodel 355.i have everything pretty well done except the alternator and starter wire.the starter has a purple and yellowish color on it that has been cut.does anyone know the factory color wire from the old harness that goes to the solenoid?thanksm.

my truck's a 82, im not sure if theirs any difference in year but my wire on the right side of the solinoid is purple. And make sure the alternator wire comes directly off the of the bat.

Mine is a 85 and it is purple.

there are all purple on all the s10 and gm cars ...or yes its is purple
