Sorry about the first 8 seconds, its nothing but blue screen.

Its not much, my first video I have put on the net. Figured it was about time to have a video of my truck running. It aint much, but this is a cold start. I just started it, backed it out for alittle bit and then put it back in the garage.

My little brother took it to prom saturday night. It got alot of attention. He had to go through 2 road checks (one of them twice). One state trooper tried to scare him I believe. He claimed he wouldnt give him a ticket since it wasnt his truck. But what he was claiming was bull anyways. Pretty bad when I know the law more than the troopers. He claimed the scoop was too tall. He also didnt like the exhaust, he claimed it couldnt be any louder than they come stock. The othe road checks were county and they all knew the truck. The second time through the county road check they stopped him just to hear it idle.

Let me know what you think, its not the best quality, but its all i have right now.

Thanks guys.

The exhaust is alittle tricky to describe. It starts out with headman headers that flow into 2.5" pipe. From there it goes to a dual inlet dual outlet custom built cat. (true converter, not gutted. I have cutouts in front if I ever want them open) The cat exits in duel 3" pipe and flows through Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I knew that full 3" would kill alot of bottom end, but it would give a good deep sound. Thats why it starts at 2.5"

He actually took the Chevelle to prom last year.

I'll get some videos up later on with more in gear idling.

Sounds good Brad. What are you using for mufflers? I like the dumps to each side behind the tires. You got a better pic of that?

Thanks guys!

Kent, I used to have a decent picture of the exhaust, I'll have to do some digging to find it. If I cant, I'll try to get another one. If I could change one thing on my exhaust would to make the 3" bends cleaner.

The cam is a lunati 41050 circle track grind. .566 Intake (1.6), .543 exhaust (1.5), 244@50 intake, 249@50 exhaust. Advertised 283/288. 106 LSA

Rest of the combo includes 10.4 to 1 compression, full roller rockers, Dart Pro1 Platinum 200 heads, 650 DP ( I want to try a 750 sometime when I get a chance), TCI 3000 stall

The cop was trying to tell him that the scoop couldnt be over 1 1/8". But the cop messed up. In VA he is right if the car is newer than 1990. But if it is older than 90, it can be 2 1/4".

Little brother has never really been into engines and cars, but from what I hear he loves the truck and he definately loved the attention it got him. Maybe that will turn him around from the video games.

helped me make up my mind what mufflers to put on, how loud are they at cruising? Don't want it so loud it annoys me, other people, don't care.

The chevelle is actually my dad's. I'll try to get a good video of it up sometime soon. It still has the 70s style stance. He is wanting to lower it sometime when money is alittle bit better. I have a few pics of the car in my photos if you want to check it out. They arent the best, alittle dark, but they work for now.

The truck is pretty loud. It has that flowmaster harmonic at about 2200 rpms. It doesnt bother me though. I like it like that. If you roll the windows up it drowns alot of it out.
