Im building a 400 sbc for a 95 s10 im going to stick to around 10-1 compression and going with roller rockers and and heads will be rebuilt with new springs and may mill the heads for little better compresion
im looking for a Nice lumpy Cam but nuthing to radicle that it hurts my vacume i hear i shoundn go more then 470-480 lift what cam is a good Bumpy Cam for a mild street/strip truck ?

Use the CL112031 cam and lifter kit for 115 bucks. I think that the 232* @ .050 would be fine for the 400. I wouldn't go any bigger unless you have a higher stall converter. Although, it would be great to have a 2000 to 2400 stall. Should pull pretty good anyway. If you want a smaller cam, let me know. I have used several different cams in a lot of different engines. I like this cam with a performer rpm or a weind stealth intake. Don't care much about the air-gap intakes cause they aren't as easy to tune. The magazine coverage doesn't tell the whole story about the air-gap intake.
