Any of you guys that are running a Herbert cam get a cam card with it? Mine is a special grind and I didn't get a card. Not even sure what to degree it to. Guess I will have to call them and hope I talk to the right person.

Some of their cams come with a card and some don't. You running a solid flat tappet cam? I ordered a 110822 cam before and didn't have a card. So, I called them and the guy at Competition Products told me to just set it on what ever I like. Didn't help much. I just set the cam on 102 intake centerline and everything turned out good. At least the guy hasn't complained about power. If you don't like the cam, use comp's 12-515-5. (That is, if it will fit your application.) I believe that is the best solid flat tappet cam I've used in 3500 to 7000+ applications. Set it at 101 or 102 intake centerline.

Comp Prod. sells Howards Cams, not Herbert. Herbert cams are OK, but I wouldn't consider them the best in the industry. However, I am running one and have had several with good luck. All the cams I've had from Herbert had the specs on the box. Call them and give them the grind number off the end, or post it here. I can help you with info also. Or just go to their web site and look it up.

If you have the grind number just go to Summit web site and find that cam and they will have all the info you are looking for.

Crap. He did say Herbert. I like their cc5h cam. All of Herbert's cams have come with cards. Just a suggestion, try installing this cam at 101.

if you have grind number i have a book from hebert cam and i have alot of specs for there cams i use there cams in all my engines on special grinds like my last one lobe center 112 roller nitrous cam they now are putting specs on there boxes to save on paper
Thanks guys, I called them and the guy told me that it was supposed to be on the end of the box. It has a sticker but you cant read all of it. All I could make out was the grind number and the duration @.05. Anyways, he told me what to set it to.
Well, when I talked to the tech guy at Doug Herbert he told me to set the cam at 103 intake centerline. I was talking to a buddy later on and he said I should call back and see if I can get the cam card. So I called this guy said he could e-mail it to me. When I got it last night I looked it over and the card says 104 intake centerline. ??? Not sure which to go by? I am leaning more towards the cards specs. What yall think?
