TH350 trying to bolt to crossmember

i have a 95 s10 standard cab shortbed. I put a 350 with a th350 in it and the mount for the tranny is about 1 1/2" higher and 1 1/2" in front of the crossmember.

What did you guys do. I can't really relocate the crossmember because of the way they mounted it.

Any suggestions Ill get a pic up when I get home.

if you can weld then that wont be hard. i had the above crossmember notched, then he welded in a half piece of 2"x.218" piping to make clearance for the bolt and socket. then the flat plate just welded above that with about a 1 1/2" slotted hole in it for adjust ability. when that was reinstalled that was the best that trans ever fit in that blazer.
