Well his wife wants the eye sore out of the yard so i told him i would take and am going to see how it will work out trying to stuff that big duramax into an 83 s10 i have sittin here that i never got around to doing anything with. wish me luck, this one is goin to be a real big project

do you see how tight a duramax fits in a full size truck...you think its gonna be better in a truck half that size? I see alot of work and heartache in your future.

i got the time and the parts , i might as well give it a try, you do know that you can do anything if you want to take the time and spend the money, ill make it fit somehow, there might be some pretty extreme mods but im sure it can be done

Good Luck :headbang: and I hope you can weld and have a big hammer :hammer: But you're right you can do anything if you set your mind to it.

i have a welder a cuttin torch a plasma cutter and a big hammer, i can make er fit, it was not that long ago people were saying there is no way you can put a bbc in an s10, we proved that one wrong so this is just another thing to do to make people say wtf how did you do that

You might be better off with an extended cab or longbed frame and move a single cab on it to the back. Then extend the fenders to make up for the move of the cab.

The truck I have is an extra cab so if need be the option is there, if I have to do that I would prob use a blazer body

I guess the easiest way is to stretch the cowl and the fenders.

Ive seen a couple of s10s done like this and they are as ugly as a dick in a disney movie.

well if i have to do it it is a last resort, i will cut up my firewall first and move the seats back if i have to but i will do whatever it takes to make sure i can make it fit in there, if nothing else just to say that i did it

that might be the best idea because you have a ext cab and there is about 18 inch of free space. have fun with it man.
