TH400 Clearance?

I have a 2004r in my 93 s10 now and the bellhousing is pretty much touching the firewall. Will a TH400 fit without having to hack on the firewall?? I found out off of this site that TRANS Dapt makes a crossmember for this appl. Another thing, what should I do about driveline angle once the trans is installed??
