ok so im on my way to hooking a/c back up in my truck after the swap,
Here is my problem I let someone else do most of my swap, and they cut alot of wires Ive gotten the blower motor working again but for some reason it will only blow defrost the lever is moving stuff behind the dash ( i pulled the panel off and everything is still working there. ( now i know the wires to the compressor have been cut would that have anything to do with why i cant move air through my vents?

anyone got any insight? or pics of what wires should be to what around the blower motor. I have the two thin black ones grounded to each other and to the casing of the motor that are coming from what looks like a relay (silver rectangular box with a purple wire running to the motor and blue and orange going into the harness somewhere {i think}

The silver rectangular box (thermister) controls when the blower motor comes on based on temperature. It could be bad or like you mentioned there is a good chance you are missing needed wiring.
