4.8/5.3 Swap

I got a 99 Sonoma. Reg cab, short bed. Want to do a v8 swap. I know a carb motor will be the cheaper route and easiest. But I would like to have fuel injuected. Which brings me to the question... How difficult is it to do a 4.8 or 5.3 swap? Straight out of one truck into mine, motor and tranny (auto)

Read up on this site! Im as well doing a 5.3 swap. The s10v8 store has some hard to find parts for ls1 gen III! Thats where I've bought my stuff.
