hey I have a 05 5.3 and an old 700R4 cant afford a 4L60e I know it can be down but how?
not using DBW obliviously........

better buying a 4l60e. an adapter plate will run you around $500-$600.

The 700r4 will bolt up minus 1 bolt hole. Do not attempt to tap because it goes into water jacket. The ls engine rear crank snout is s little bit short but they make spacers to relocate the flywheel to the correct location
