MSD Help

Do not have motor installed yet but I was looking at my msd distributor and ignition box. I am trying to figure out how to hook them up. I have the general idea on how to hook up the ignition box. but I have a StreetFire HEI (part# 8362)type distributor and am not sure how to wire the msd 6a box to distributor.

If anyone has any experience with this distributor please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

there should be a two plug with a green and i think purple wire just get rid of the module..use the two wire plug and it plugs in too the msd box ...then the two 10gauge wires black goes to ground and red to batt hot (straight to the batt)...then the small red goes to 12v switch wire and orange to the +side of coil and small block to the - side of coil..

there are two wires a green and a white. so i need to unplug this from the module? Where do the wires plug into the msd box?
I understand the the power and ground wires and the coil + and - .

there are two wires a green and a white. so i need to unplug this from the module? Where do the wires plug into the msd box?

there should be a short set of wire on the side with green and purple into a plug (maybe 2in off the box)the white is use for points(not used).style.here is the part number from msd what you need to hood it up# 8861 (the plug for the distributor)the one from box to distributor is #8860
