View Full Version : 97 wiring nightmare!!!

97 s10 had 2.2 5spd in it now has 350 with th350 trans hei ignition
my problem is that i have one relay left on my firewall has the fatter purple wire goin to my soilenoid and the +bat cable going to the big terminal and 2 other red wires. but the relay has a ground and another power wire coming off of it purple with white stripe it is hot and it turn my motor over even when key is out of truck can any 1 help me out here im so lost lol

Are those specic for a '97?

hi mike...stupid ? is 94 about the same?i get a headache just looking @ my wires.i has a 355,700r4 combo.any help will be greatly appreciated

I love that last one... Nobody should ever have any problem hooking up an alternator with that one, how plain is that...

well,i dont have a problem hooking up an alternator,but i also don't want to burn up my truck.never done a f.i. to carb before.just asking for a little help,not criticism...

hey just wondering if u might have a head light schematic for a 2000 chevy s10 having problems getting the head lights to work but everything else light wise works thanks for the help mike

I was referring to the schematics Mike posted links to, not your post, sorry you took it the wrong way, I guess I should have worded it differently... I just thought the last one of those schematics he posted was a great schematic anybody could use if they were having an alternator wiring problem, many do when rewiring there truck...

is all good man...i am slowly getting there.i just don,t want mine and my little girl's hard work go up in smoke.i will welcome any help though.maybe when i get it get done my daugther and i can go for one hell of a cruise(rt 66 baby)and you are all invited.
