Hy guys,
I put in my new MSD 8360 ready to run distributor and saw that there is no green cable for tachometer signal like in users manual. Whats going on here? Do I need to buy a special package for getting this or is it possible to get the signal from other place.

Parts used are MSD Blaster2 Coil and the 8360 Distributor, no Ignition Box etc.

Thanks

It's either not there in which case I'd call MSD or it's inside under the cap and didn't get pulled through the grommet.

I think my dist is what you have-- and coil, my tach wire goes to the negative side of the blaster-- green wire off tach goes to negative side of blaster

@ polkaudio: Thx but calling MSD from Germany is a little bit expensive. :-)

@adh383: Do you mean the tach wire from firewall coming goes to negative side of coil? In the user manual is shown a 3pin harness from distributor and a green cable from Distributor to the tach cable coming from the firewall.

Is it possible to put the tach cable ( this one coming from the tach, its white) to negative connection of the coil? I thougt it needs +voltage.

ok its done, tach comes. Do I have to modify the tach for correct rpm, or does it still fit without modifications?

By the way, its really seems to be the fact that the green extra cable is a copy of the orange one from the 3pin harnes connector from dist..

Correct me, if i'm going wrong
