Hey guys, I have owned many s10's and s10 blazers. I always wanted to throw a v8 in them but always went bagged. So when I got this 1999 Hombre I desided to go threw with it.
But so far I have parts coming from summit for the motor. Then started to think about the trans. Im going to run a 700r4 behind a 91 sbc with flat tops, .465/.488 lift cam, 650 double pumper, street dominator holly intake manifold, slight ported heads, ect.... Nothing to serious just fun.
But I ran into some questions about the trans.
I was given a bracket for the trans? like an Z shape anyone know what its for?
And to run a floor shift how would that work? Could I find a third gen and grab all the shift related parts and mount that in the s10?
Then I have a trans cooler Ima mount that in the front of the radiator.
Now other then those questions any further info would be great
