I am at my wits end. My project is finished but I have no throttle. All the parts are from a 2004 silverado. The engine is a 4.8 v8, 2004 silverado 4.8 ecu. The throttle controll module is from a 2006 silverado. I bult the wiring harness myself. The ecu was reflashed by a friend of mine at superchips in Orlando.
The truck is a 1996 s15 jimmy.
The truck starts right up and runs perfect. I have no throttle at all. The codes I pulled are a p1125, a p2120, and a p2125. I have checked every wire. I have checked all voltages with a scan tool. I have checked voltaged and resistance with a multimeter.
APP sensor 1 is .57v @ idle and 3.87 at wot
APP sensor 2 is .56v @ idle and 3.87 at wot
sensors "AGREE" according to the scan tool.
If I clear the codes they come back imediatly
my PCM service # is 12586242 and the hdw # is 12583660
the TAC module # is TM01-160K1
the # under that # is 508-018930
the apps # is hard to read but looks like # 010504-00360-4
the only # I see on the throttle body is 13z022
is it possible that the apps is bad? I am on my 3rd TAC module. I am desperate for answers.

There are not many guys on this forum that can help you with this. This is more advanced than 98% of the members here. I am not trying to push you away, but help you. Go to s10v8.org and become a member. Once you are a member, make a title of LSx help, help me Specv44.. This is the man to talk with. He has done 3 or more installs and can help.

Kent is right most of the folks here got rid of their ECM's because of these kind of issues and random static discharge will cause irratic preformance in the ECM it is the primary reason for converting the s10s to the older style V8's but that is just my preference I like being a fighter pilot and tunning my engine adjusting valves and carb getting my hands inside the working parts of the engine building my own custom exhaust things like that are totally out when you use that automated Electronic control modual. I like mine pounded to fit and painted to match just like the french goat wagon it is.

Are you running drive by wire?

Ditch it! Get a cable TB and not fight it. But thats just my 2cents.

Might try ls1tech.com for help on that.

Good luck. Be nice when all the bugs are worked out!
