hi. just want to say awesome site. full of usefull info and people willing to helpout a fellow gear head. ok now my question. i am looking for blueprints for solid mounts for motor and frame. i am a steel fabricator by trade and have all the tools needed to build just about anything. i have seen solid mounts, they dont look difficult at all but i dont want to guess at anything. blueprints would be awesome. or even just hand sketched drawings. as long as all the demensions are there. can i buy them anywhere? or does anyone have the measurments they could give me? If not im gona just buy them when i get my headers in a few weeks. but i would perfer to build them myself. thanks, and i will upload pictures of before durring and after my swap.

I just went to Auto Zone and bought a stock 2.8 mount and took the measurements off it. Made mine in about 30 mins.

Just don't try a solid mount on the Transmiission also. Or a stock mount. Get a good one.

Yeah, Solid motor and trans mounts are not good together. Found out the hard way. (and expensive one) Get a good Poly on or something.
