8.8 explorer read end

Read about the 8.8 swap and want to do it. Only question i have is do i need an axle out of a 4x4 or a 2wd explorer..? I found a yard that has each but its not local and want to know which i need b4 i drive all the way up there to buy one of them. Thanks again. Im collecting all my parts so i can do the motor and rear end at the same time.. Will make sure to take plenty of pictures of both motor and rear end swap so i can show everyone.

Look at the tag on the rearend to see what gear you are getting. also look at tag to see if it has an L --- means limited slip. ex. 3 L 73 8 8
