The conversion manual says that the oil pressure sender is just for the gage.

Yet the oil pressure switch 'signals' the fuel pump to run once the engine is

started. Fuel pump relay only provides electricity to pump at startup.

My question is if you put in a gage to the oil pressure port then what

provides the signal that runs the fuel pump?

Thanks for any help. Some manuals reference two switches yet on the

TBI motors the oil pressure sender is near the distributor with one

output ?

Thanks, I have the 3 prong sender next to the distributor; it controls the fuel
pump. I found on the web the location above the oil filter for the gage
sender.

Thanks again for timely response walt

The oil pressure switch will have the ORANGE wires attached.

Thanks have several wiring diagrams but they lack a little compared to old
shop manual ones. I guess just too many variations so they display them in HYPO mode. :)

I put an short nipple, 45 degree elbow and T in by the distributor and put both the oil pressure switch and gage connection there. You don't have to use the hole by the oil filter it you don't want to.
