i have a 1989 s-10 that i am swapping a 5.3 into i was wondering what it would take to get Fbody long tubes to work?

I agree with Justin, reinventing the wheel is more head ache than anything. If you already have the headers, you could test fit and cut/weld, but if you don't buying pre fabbed will save alot of work & time. Mike's prices are very competative!

Another note. The 5.3 with 224/224 cam with shorty headers is all a guy needs. I plan in the future to build a stroker, and THEN I will buy long tubes. The Little 327 w/stock heads and pistons just can't benefit enough w/ long's.
I did some research myself, and put alot of thought in it! Save the money, get some shorties and put the money were you can really use it! Like ECM tuning! Gonna need that more than anything!!
