I dunno about HP, but I hope you\'ve got some STICKY tires to put all that power to the ground.... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif Yeah, sounds like a really nice combo. After you get it all dialed in, you may be shopping for more carb, but the 650 is a good starting point. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

I have (or HAD... long story) a very similar combo to yours. The only major difference being the cam. I\'m running a solid roller 242/248@.050, about .580\" lift. Oh yeah, and I\'m running shorty headers.
On the engine dyno it made 442hp/452 tq without getting into jetting, and with 36* total timing. This was with what looked like an intake restriction according to vac* numbers. My builder was thinking a combination of my 650 carb and the dual plane intake manifold was causing the restriction. With a 750 carb and victor jr. I may have seen peak numbers closer to the 500hp mark. But, the torque curve was GREAT. Here\'s a copy/paste from my previous thread when I got back from the dyno...
rpm.......tq........hp........a/f
3000....401....230....13.3
3200....414....252....12.5
3400....437....283....12.7
3600....441....302....12.8
3800....432....313....12.9
4000....432....329....12.8
4200....442....353....13.1
4400....446....374....13.2
4600....448....392....13.4
4800....452....407....13.5
5000....441....420....13.5
5200....431....427....13.7
5400....417....429....13.2
5600....409....437....12.5
5800....398....442....12.8
6000....385....440....13.7
6200....375....439....13.1
BTW, it felt REAL strong until it took a dump (oil smoke + blow by out the breathers). It\'s back at the shop for diagnosis right now.

Id say your good with the carb. The proform body flows like 770 cfm or something like that. I did the same thing with my 650, upgrading it to a 750 with the body.

I am sure hooking up will be most of my problem! I do have slide-a-links on it and I am going to remove the 2 middle springs. So hopefully it will stick. Not to mention I am planning on running M/T ET Streets so hopefully they work. The next problem will be the rearend so believe me I am already looking for a new one.
