With the tank at the very back you have less worries than most of us with saddle tanks.
Blazers look great with the tail pipes coming out behind the tire, I don\'t mean like the old full size chevy trucks but tucked just behind the wheel pointed down a bit.
Ps in this position when smoking the tire the exhaust blows out the smokes and look great.

You said you didn\'t have to worry about emissions, so do it.
I don\'t have cats on mine and we got emission testing here last year.
I haven\'t had to test my s truck but I had to have my Bronco II and it has a 302 and no cats, They classify it as a hot rod and give it a idle sniff.
With my little truck I am suppose to do it in Oct.
If I stop driving it in Oct. and wait to next year to buy my plate sticker, the old girl is 20 years old and I don\'t have to test it anymore.

removal of a cat. coverter is a federal crime,as is hollowing it out. i believe even with a swap of any kind the vehicle must pass to the specs of the vehicle (your v8 s10 needs to be the same as a v6 s10 or what ever it was stock. however i have never heard of any one getting busted for this crime it comes with a major fine $1,000s and if your a dealer or garage its much more.
not trying to be a party pooper but it is illegal no matter what.i have done it ,will do, sure wont give a crap if anyone else does it.but thats that removal of a emmisions devise is illegal -and burnouts are considered unsafe starts who cares!!!!
