i need some help im am looking to do a 2nd gen interior swap!! that means dash door panels and seats....i\'ve heard it done before but never seen any pics! can anyone help me out? if you have any pics or ever seen it post!! thanx alot http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

There was a Blazer in truckin\' magazine in the last 2 or 3 months that had a 2nd generation dash in it. It said that he had to section or narrow it to make it fit. I have both a 1st and 2nd gen truck and I do believe it would be a lot of work to do the dash swap. For the door panels...I don\'t think they would work either. But these are just my observations.

has anybody used a 82 to 92 camaro dash in a S10, i have seen pictures of this done, but am just curious on how hard it is.

How, its wider? 2nd gens are like 1.5-2\" wider.

prob. should clariffy you mean a 2nd gen body style change dash or a 86 and newwer dash in a 85 and older
the 86 and newwer dash in a older truck is a direct bolt in a newwer body style truck dash would need moddified to fit

I took a look at my second generation S-10 compared to my first gen. and the 2nd gen dash would almost touch the steering wheel and the windshield curve is totally different you would have to cut that section of the dash.

i saw it done to a 1 gen s10 in minitruckin and the owner said he had 200+ hours on the dash
