Remove the trim and the seals, then get a thin piece of wire (braided preferrably, it\'s stronger) and work it past the sealant so one end is inside the truck and the other is outside. Wrap both ends around a stick (one stick on each end of the wire), have one person on each end and work it around the windshield to break the sealant. Then carefully lift it out. It may be slightly different on an S10, I did it on an Impala, but that was how I did it and it worked well.

I\'ve never taKen a back window out so I can\'t help you there.

yep thats how i do windshields also, but i also use a boxcutter to cut some of the sealer out also to make it easier to get the shield out.

As for the back window, take 2 small screw drivers and work on popping the hasket out and the back window will pop out, its pretty easy

I didn\'t want to mess up the back window gasket so I covered the window with contact paper and broke it. The contact paper help the mess together.

I used braided wire on a beretta once. Takes time and patience. You just need to saw through it with the wire and make sure that you do not push on the window until it\'s ready to come out.

The wire trick works great!!!! Use the box cutter to cut the plastic strip around the glass. You might even beable to pull the strip off. The wire I use is the hood realse cable. Its strong and 9/10 times you can find a car in the Junk Yard with out a hood that won\'t miss the cable.

Thanks, Indiana! Thats a great Idea! I am building a new race car and I wasn\'t looking forward to cutting out all the glass! I\'ll just tape it and break it! It can also be a good stress reliever!
