ive been doin a lil research, from the get go, ive wanted to run serpentine drive, the accessory holes on my v8 heads are in the same spot as the accessory hole on my stock 4.3 i was wondering if i could directly bolt those back up to my v8 block and salvage my airconditioning, alternator, and power steering, also i was wondering if my stock 4.3 water pump will work on my v8 block i mean the only thing i see different is it may be undersized if anythin, if anyone can help me id appreciate it

Yup, just make sure you have the correct water pump. Serpentine systems have a reverse style water pump.

yea i noticed that, by looking at the fan the fan spins opposite of a chevy v8 motor, or atleast a v8 with v belt drive, haha that sovel the mystery, i was wondering how the transmisssion would work if that motor spins in the opposite direction, but the crank does spin the same way, it just the serpentine belt on the water pump causes it to run in the reverse direction, so do u know what kind of waterpump to run,,or wil it just run no matter what

all the stuff should work ...i think that a diferrent pump from a 350 like a 98 or so truck will work ..i know for sure the corvette water pump is a reverse design and i think that the radiators are that way also but im not sure on the radaitor part

Only the water pump spins the opposite way. If you need a different water pump, just get a reverse style. I think most aftermarket companies make them. Just make sure you have the right one before you run your motor, weather you running a standard v-belt set up, or the serpentine. Spining the water pump the wrong way will kill your motor quick.
