how much more room am i going to have to have when going from a 4.3 vortec to 5.7 vortec in a 93 s10 blazer 4x4 thanks leebob

just enough to get the job done remember a 5.7 is the same width as a 4.3 the 5.7 is just longer so the main trouble is infront between the engine and radiator but electric fans can solve that problem good luck

You won\'t have to make any modifications to the engine bay as long as you use the conversion mounts and a good radiator/fan setup. As mentioned, the width works out fine with headers and the width is solved with a lower profile fan.



Hell, there are guys running big blocks in there with minor engine bay mods.
