corvette style pop hood??

i was just thinkin...if there is a way to do it have have the hood like molded or what have u, to the fenders and design some hinge typ thing and have your front end set up like a corvette type thing where u unlatch and the whole thing folds to the front, allowing you to work on the engine more closely..i actually think it would be a good idea, im sure someone has already done it before, but if anyone have any suggestions or know how..id appreciate them.

Im sure you already know but in the parts section there is a one peice front end for the 1st gen s10s that might be close to what you want. but i know what you mean by the corvette hood. but that would make it harder to work on the front of the motor.

yea i thought about that after i posted it, then i thought about the radiator and all that shit so...o well
