Ok, I\'m trying to put a stereo in my 2000 S-10. In order to remove the trim panel, I have to unplug the connection that goes to the passenger air bag on/off switch. I\'m deathly afraid of airbags and don\'t want to screw anything up / get hit with an airbag. As long as I disconnect the battery (and wait a few minutes) before I disconnect the switch, I should be OK, Right?

The airbags are still inside the dash, and I don\'t have any broken bones, so i guess it went well. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
I hate airbags... And ABS...

Ya, I waited a little while after disconnecting the battery before I messed with anything. I get real paranoid around stuff like that.
