Hello. I am wiring my 1994 s-10 to an 87 full size TBI harness. I am looking for the diagrams for the wiring for the gauges and the speed sensor, but the 2nd gen haynes manual does not seem to cover this. My first gen manual covered EVERYTHING... Where can I obtain the wiring diagram for the gauges? Thanks a lot.

well i assume you had the vcm computer mounted on the overflow tank since your rewiring the truck. i went through the same thing with my 94. i cut all the plugs off the vcm and wired the pigtail from a 1227747 ecm onto what was left of my factory harness and ran it inside the truck. i have a factory service manual for a 94 so i should be able to help you with anything you need. oh and you\'ll have to wire in a vss buffer/drac to run your speedo since the vcm used to control that among other things. email me at cyberbug53@aol.com

My 94 wiring says it has a buffer for the VSS. But what are all of the wires that lead from the driver\'s side next to the brake booster? I know one of them goes to the starter, and none of them are for the gauges, and the other portion coming out of there are for the headlights. What are the rest of the wires in the bundle?

I\'m not seeing on the 2.2 how the VSS goes to the ECM at all (haynes sucks dick at the s-10 wiring compared to the full size\'s). Which wires do I tap into to get from the buffer to the ECM?

according to my manual a brown/white wire goes from your vss buffer to pin F13 on the pcm which is your speed signal to the pcm and a brown wire goes from the vssb to pin F12 on the pcm which is transmission out put speed. and yeah i show that a 2.2 does have a seperate vssb but mine was built into the vcm so i had to add one in with my new harness.
