ok here\'s the deal. about 2 months ago, i made a deal with my brother to paint my truck, included in the deal was another s10 that had a good body on it. we were to swap bodies from mine to the other one and he was gonna paint it while it was all apart. well its been 2 months and nothing has been done yet, and i already gave him $1000 to start. I\'m so fricking pissed. At this rate it will never get painted. I\'d ask for my money back, but knowing my brother, i\'ll never get it. This is the last time i do business with family. I should of just taken it to a regular body shop atleast it would get done.

Yea, ive been their but not with family. I was restoring the body on a 1968 chevy truck, he bought most materials and i used some of mine, and i spent my time on it. I was doing everything for 200 bucks, due date for 1st hundred he slipped me 20 bucks. LOL. Yea bro i know how it is, and people wonder why i try to do everything on my own? If i was you, i would of done the work yourself, that way you would learn, have fun, and have your truck as long as u want, and u also wont be depending on anyone else for help or assistance. In your case, i would do it yourself slowly, and try to get the 1k back, or just tell him to go screw himself and leave it at that. A body shop isnt cheap nowadays, and most places dont like to completely repaint a vehicle, especially a different color cause of the time and effort required. Thats the way my work is atleast.......... u need help with anything related to autobody, let me know.... roy

i know he\'ll do it, its just a matter of when. He said it will be done by april. He does beautiful work, and i\'m sure when its done it will be show quality. I don\'t know if i have a right to bitch because not everybody can get a rust free cab, doors and box and a complete color change for $1000. But damn i hate lazy people. I talked to him again today and he said he\'s waiting because if his Geo blows up then he needs to drive the parts truck. well damn it my fricking truck. I\'ll give him 2 weeks if nothing gets done then i\'ll just do it myself.
