I have an 88 s10 blazer, and hate the fact that headers are so much more expensive, anyone know of another way? maybe cheaper headers or maybe some sort of manifold? any input would be great!

Did you buy the book? It\'s available in the parts section. Camaro low performance exhaust manifolds are recommended. I\'m using a ram\'s horn on the driver\'s side and a truck exhaust on the passenger side. Driver\'s side was a little snakey to run but works real well. Pics are coming.

My truck came with the advanced adaptors one and they suck. i\'ll prolly switch to manifold in the summer.

78 up G-body or 82-92 F-body maifolds should work for ya. With these manifolds you\'ll need to have a block with the dipstick in the passenger side or it gets real tight on the drivers side for the dipstick tube.

hey, i sell on ebay as a business... I bought a week old set of headers and full dual exhaust with mufflers for only 120$ and then 60$ for shipping.. keep an eye out on the online auctions. i also sold 2 sets of manifolds for this same application.. for only 65$ after being blasted and baked and vht\'d.

There out there, ya just have to spend time looking, and some people just have the time..

LEt me know if i can help ya out.

the hedman 2wd shorties will work, but not without a little work. you must grind the corner off the top of the drivers side shock mount, and bend the shift linkage if you are running an auto trans with coulmn shift.you also need a body lift, since the 4x4 engine mounts sit higher than the 2wd ones. there is a detailed writeup of this with pics ats10extremist.org (http://pub124.ezboard.com/bs10extremists) in their bbs.
