i just ordered a new set of 4 convo pros. 15x4\'s for the front and 15x10\'s for the back. Whats the biggest slick you can fit under these things with out them sticking out really far? I was going to aim for a 26x12.5, 28x12.5 or 28x13.5. If not what can i fit?

I have 29.5 x 10.5 on an 8\" rim and I stick out about a half inch. Anything over 10.5\" on a 10\" rim will stick out quite a bit I would think. I have always been told you want to run the tallest tire possible also. A taller tire can absorb the shock better because of more sidewall. You really get the wrinkle wall effect with taller tire.

12\" tire is gonna be about even with the fenderlip, and thats about as wide as you can go, atleast without sticking out.

You know the BS on the rear rims?

yea the BS is 5\". Ideal shoulda been 5.5 but i wanted to make sure i had enough clearance. Right now im running 17x10\'s with a 5.5 BS and they dont stick out al all.

Ideally go with the tallest you can fit. A taller tire has a larger footprint of contact to the ground. The other thing to consider though is the effect tire height will have on gearing. As far as width goes... I don\'t know. I tried a 32x12.5x15 slick I had lying around one time, and there was no way in hell that it would fit. Height would have been close but id recommend like a 29\" tall maybe 30\", width wise I don\'t know but I did not see any way to fit that 12.5\" wide slick... maybe it was just the set I had. I thought 10.5\'s were about as wide as you could \'comfortably\' fit. Maybe someone can jump in who has used wider.

im going to check it out more. I got my wheels today and bolted one up. I have 15x10 back wheel and i have alittle over 2\" between the back of the rim and the frame. So i could fit a slick that is around 14\" bubble to bubble. Only thing that is holding me up right now is my bumpstops so i will probally grind them off....

mickey thompson has a set out thats 28x11.5x15 with a 12.9 section width..Im thinking about giving these a shot. if my measurements are right then it should fit without hitting the frame...

Well if you\'re using them at the track, I wouldn\'t be too worried about them sticking out a little. I used a set of 26x10\'s for a long time that had the wrong backspacing and stuck out atleast an inch or two

they probally wont stick out to far. If they stick out abiut i dont care i just dont want them to be like 4\" out then it would look stupid. They are going to be the permanent wheels and tires.
