As I am taking my truck apart for a rebuild, I am thinking about the work it was putting it together. It sure comes apart faster than it goes together. I think the single part that I had to run back and forth to the parts store to get the right size the most was the fan belt. I thought I measured it right with a rope several times. I must have made ten trips. How about you? What part did you need to make trips for?

My hold ups were the after market A/C condensor and the metered fuel return line coupler.

Yes, definitely the belts. Many trips to the parts store.

Also, when I installed my line lock, I did not buy the brake Kit. So, I had a hard time finding the correct brake line sizes for the Prop-valve. Didn\'t know I had metric brake lines???

Oil relocater lines. I had a \'cheap\' aftermarket filter relocator with the \'heater type\' hoses and clamps. Those hoses don\'t like 20w50 and 30 below 0. I blew one off.

So I decied to go with Hydrolic lines. There good til 25000psi. There cost of @ 100 was worth the peace of mind knowing that they weren\'t going to pop in the middle of a nasty wintery snow storm.

Space.

nothing really was all that hard for me. Except maybe little fittings like for the oil pressure stuff and trans cooler. As far as the belts went we measured with a piece of fodder twine and then bought the 3 belts that were closest to our measurement. One up, one down. You can almost always take stuff back alot cheaper than going back to the store. Especially if you live 20 minutes from the closest parts store.
