I need to know how to do away with my brake booster???? Parts ect...

Just got my motor done and it is an 18* degree head mota and the valve cover is now hitting the brake booster. I don\'t have enough va* to have power brakes any way.

That is just one of the problems...Tried putting the motor in last night and the canton oil pan will not work...LOL

So now I am having to cut and rebrace the cross member....Damn. I love a s-dime..LOL

any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys..Vince

the easiest way is to strip all the parts from a manual brakes truck. you will need the master cylinder, the plate that the combination valve mounts to, the combination valve, and the push rod that hooks to the pedal ohh and some brake fluid heh

Yeah I had that same problem...What I did was get a dual master cylinder from wilwood and a proportioning valve....Now it works great.

Which Canton pan are you using? I had the same problem with a standard deep pan also so I went with the 4X4 pan and I had plenty of clearance without touching the cross member.
