boxing frame

i am planing to box my frame should i make it so the metal gets welded up against the frame (same hight as the frame)or do i trim it to fit inside with the frame flush with the inside rails?

i would go inside its a pain to weld on your back

i have had the unique experience of backhalving a s10 and boxed the frame in and i did it flush with the top and bottom off the frame...you will find it much easier to trim..also would not box it past the crossmember no need!

No need unless your making some really high HP #\'s



Even if you were going to do it just ahead of the crossmember that would only be a little and your not likely to bend it up there.
