Do you mean a link in a note, to show a pic, or to get a pic into the gallery?

.......... If you want to show a pic in a note you posted, and see it immediately, this is what you need to do: (I saved this to file for just such occasions.... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

How To Post a Pic From \"Your File Space\":

* Go to the left column on the homepage, and click on \"Your File Space\". Then click on \"Create Folder Now\". (even if you already have a folder) This will take you to \"Your File Space.\"

* You need to upload your pix from your computer into this location, \"Your File Space\". The pix will stay there until you want to delete them.

* Before you upload the pix, consider editing and/or changing the filename of your pix. First, make sure that there are no spaces in the filename. If there are, you can never delete it. Also, you might want to change the filename to something easily recognizable by yourself. Also, since the size of \"Your File Space\" is limited, you might want to lower the resolution and size of the pix.

* To upload, just click on \"browse\" near the \"file to upload\" box. Find the pic you want to upload, click on it, and it\'ll appear in the \"file to upload\" box. Then click upload, it should now be added to \"Your File Space\".

* Now you\'re ready to attach a pic link with a message. While you\'re still in my filespace, right click on the pic you want to add to your post, and click \"copy shortcut\".

* Go back to \"Home\", and start composing your message or reply. At the place in the message where you want the link to your pic to appear, click the \"URL\" button below the text box. A text box will appear, right click on it and choose \"paste\". The URL for you pic will appear. Click OK, and another box will appear in which you need to type a \"Title\" for the pic that will appear in your message. Then click OK. Or, instead of clicking on the \"URL\" button, you can click on the \"image\" button, but you can\'t give the pic a title.

* Done. Now when you post your message or reply, the link to your pic will be in your message.

Note: I find it easier to open 2 sessions of S10 V8 to do this. That way you can toggle back and forth between the message you are composing, and \"Your File Space\" This is particulaly handy it you want to post more than one pic link in the same message, or if you\'re in the midst of composing a message or reply, and then decide to add a pic.

As long as you followed the process it should have said something like \" Your media will be checked by the proxy\" Or something like that. Basicly as long as it said somethng odd like that then you did it right.

Mike has to add all photos to the site. That is how we have the \"gallery\". Each of our personal galleries is what makes up the ful gallery.

I am not \"puter\" literate either, but I have learned alot between people hears firection and my sister-in-law.

If you want to post a pic that you can add and delte at will you will have to goto \"your file space\" and creat a new file. Follow those directions and you can post links to your indiviule picks any time. Ypu can even use the web adress to show your buddys pics even from other sites.

Space.
