what will i need to do to make the trans and every thing work also keep the abs working and will the 350 brake the springs or anything

the full size chevy trucks have 350 with a 4l60e trans right ?

the ABS is a stand-alone system. so all you have to do is make sure it stays wired the way it was before you did the swap. the 350 will NOT break the springs. i swapped from a 2.8 to a smallblock and i still have the original springs. you might want to put a stiffer shock on it though. otherwise itll ride like a boat when you go over speed bumps and train tracks and the like. if the truck has a 4l60 in it with the 4.3 tbi you can keep your original computer and everything, the wiring and the computer will all bolt up to the 350/trans. just replace the PROM. even then, you dont necessarily have to but id recommend it, the v8 will run alot better with a v8 PROM.

if you have a 4l60 in there now then technically no, but itll run way way better with the v8 prom
