Clearance for fans

I already have mine semi finished, but my buddy has a 96 s-10 4wd and he says he is worried about clearance. Right now he has 5 1/2 inches from the front of the water pully to the radiator. How much room is he gonna have with a 350 in there, and how should he have fans set up, he has air cond so it has to be on the engine side.



So if the 350 adds 4 inches then he has only 1 1/2 inches? There is about another inch from the accessories to the rad so.....



Do the flex 210\'s get thinner in the center?





His truck is a 4x4 4.3 96, with a/c.

If you get dual fans you\'ll have plenty of room. Some single electric fans wont fit. Since the duals go side by side, you have an empty space between them. Your water pump pulley should fit right in between the motors. 1 1/2 inches of clearance is about right unless you cut the rad support to get the rad inside it. I\'ve got about an inch of clearance because I\'ve got a big ass 4-core griffin rad. I\'m still running a clutch fan, but plan on upgrading to dual electrics and I think the dual set up will fit.

Ya, i have the 210s\' S10rodder is right, they fit nicely between your water pump (even though I use mine as pushers)

I had about 2 3/4\'\' of clearance on mine. I bought the Scirocco Dual 9\'\' fans to put on the back and i\'ve got a 14\'\' on the front.
