more head questions??

any body know what the specs. for a 92 camaro tbi 350 heads or a 90 chevy full size 1500 350 tbi? which would be better? or are they the same? valve size? combustion chamber size? right now i have only stock large chamber crap. so anything up from that would be an improvement

are vortec heads only on engines that say vortec on top of the intake? the intake bolt pattern is 6 bolts with the two center bolts angled up, not 90 deg. from intake gasket surface.

vortec heads that folks look for are from the 5.7 96-98 era, some old body style 99s would have them also.

The TBI truck heads perform good to 4500. If they are all you have then you can clean them up a little and help out with performance some. That vien in the intake runner looks like it should help out things. It creates turbulance but doesn\'t do much for flow. Clean the runners and bowls up. Spend a little time on the exhaust and they will be alright for scooting around on the street.
