alright guys, my S10 has a low compression 350 in it now with a th350, 4.11 ford 9 inch. i plan on building a new motor and havent totally settled on a specific combination.. i\'m fairly certain i\'ll be going with dart heads,, victor junior intake with a holley 750HP.. full roller valve train (cam specs undecided) i have been toying with the idea of a 377, 383 406 or a 427 Small block want to put my truck solidly in the elevens with room to spare.. our altitude here is 3500 ft and air quality on a hot summer day can be more like 5500 ft..lets hear what you guys are running to get into the elevens or twelves

Not a streetable combo, is race only. If you want to dip into the 10\'s get a better set of heads. OR... Buy me a better set and put me into the 10\'s http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

P.S. cam is solid flat tappet

no 1/4 mile runs yet but my combo before was a 10.5:1 331 dart 215 heads 258,262 .560 .545 cam, victor jr intake, 750 race demon, 1 3/4\" headers. this ran a best of 6.98, consistent 7.0s 1/8th mile which i would think would be low 11s and maybe squeak in the high 10s. new combo im hoping will be a lil more potent. this was in a streetable blazer on pump gas. As far as no replacement for displacement......

turbo, supercharger,nitrous>displacement...
